About Field + Theory
Field + Theory is founded by brewers and hospitality people with decades of experience across pubs, breweries and taprooms in the UK and Europe. We understand the realities of the on-trade because we’ve lived them; the need for reliability, clarity and beers that pour well.
Our approach is simple: brew with restraint, value long-term relationships, and take the time to listen. We’re interested in working with venues who care about quality, conversation and the people they bring together.

DRIFT
CALM + BALANCED
Clean and composed, with soft malt character, gentle stone fruit and subtle herbal notes. A dependable lager designed to be returned to.
FOUNDRY
DEEP + STRUCTURED
Malt-led and reassuring, with caramel, toasted bread and a firm, balanced bitterness. A beer made to hold the table.
ROOTS
REFLECTIVE + GROUNDING
Low in strength but rich in character. Heritage barley, gentle roast, cocoa and quiet depth, a beer that rewards slower drinking.
ECHO
LAYERED + EVOLVING
A hop-forward IPA shaped by season + freshness, allowing the hop blend to subtly evolve over time.
BEACON
BRIGHT + EXPRESSIVE
A low-ABV pale ale with citrus, mango and subtle berry notes. Generous in flavour, refreshing in character, built for long afternoons and easy conversation.
